According to statistics, searching for information is one of the main reasons we launch our web browser. But sometimes, searching on Google or another search engine isn't enough to obtain the results you need.

SmarterFox: Browse Faster is a Firefox extension that noticeably improves your online searches by offering alternative search results and improving Wikipedia articles with alternative information.

Another notable improvement added by the extension is the ability to view search results in the address bar that correspond to the terms you're entering.

SmarterFox: Browse Faster includes a tool, called qLauncher, that allows you to quickly visit your favorite websites. This tool is activated with a keyboard shortcut (Ctrl-Space, by default) and allows you to add the webpage you're currently viewing to the list right from the same interface.
